THE NMHA WILL BE ADDING A SECOND U18BB TEAM TO OUR REP PROGRAM FOR 2023-2024 SEASON.
Based on
the number of passports purchased for the 2023 Fall U18 Evaluations, the NMHA
is pleased to announce that we will be moving forward with a fourth team in the U18 age group for the 2023-2024 season.
Based on
the passports issued, the fourth entry will be in the ‘BB’ category.
We are also
pleased to announce that Todd Robinson has accepted the head coaching position
for the second team. Todd is a longtime volunteer and coach in our association,
most recently coaching the U16MD team in 2022-2023.
Evaluation
Process
ALL
PLAYERS released
from the U18A evaluations and those that opted to go directly to U18BB MUST
report to the first U18BB evaluation on Wednesday, September 20th,
2023.
The final
selections for the U18BB White team (Coach – Chris Neale) will be made after the 3rd
U18BB evaluation skate (exhibition game vs Richmond Hill).
Players not selected
for the U18BB White team will be released to the U18BB Red evaluation list.
The final selections for the U18BB Red team will be after their exhibition game on Saturday, September 23rd.
NOTE: We will need to have a minimum of
14 skaters and 1 goalie for the second U18BB team to move forward.
Players
born in 2006 or 2007 who are registered with the NMHA for the 2023-2024
season may still purchase an Evaluation Passport. The deadline to purchase a
Passport for U18BB Evaluations is Wednesday, September 20th at
