Congratulations to Newmarket Renegade player Owen Nichol on receiving a 2023 Ontario Hockey Federation Bursary Award.
Along with being an exemplary student, Owen has been a leader in our community volunteering at tryouts and on-ice with younger age groups to help the next generation of Renegade players learn the game. As a player, Owen's coaches commented that “Owen brings a positive attitude and energy to every game and practice. He makes everyone around him better, both on and off the ice, with his skill and dedication.”
