THE NMHA IS OFFERING BODY CHECKING CLINICS FOR U14 (2010) ATHLETES WHO WISH TO TRYOUT FOR 2023-24 REP TEAMS

Body checking is an integral part of rep hockey starting at U14 and will be assessed during this year’s tryouts.  It is highly recommended that all athletes wishing to participate in the 2023-24 team tryouts for the U14 (2010) age group have some prior training in body checking.  As a result, the NMHA will offer body-checking clinics for these age groups.

Eligibility Requirements to be able to attend NMHA Body Checking Clinics:
·       Athlete MUST have been registered with the NMHA for the 2022-23 season

As per the OMHA directive - NRP (non-resident players) players are NOT eligible to participate.

Clinics will be filled on a ‘first come-first serve’ basis and we anticipate that they will fill quickly.

The clinics will be progression based and players must attend both ice times in a session  (players cannot miss the first ice time for session registered and attend only the second, must attend both)

Cost: $70/Option (Payment will be made online when registering for the clinic)

When/Where:

All clinics will be held at the Magna Centre.
