The U11AA Newmarket Renegades took home Silver in the International Silver Stick - Brampton Regional Tournament!
The boys started the tournament facing the Milton Winterhawks with a 0-0 tie. They went on to win 4-2 against the Orangeville Flyers and 4-0 against the Markham Islanders! The semi-finals resulted in a 4-1 victory over Streetsville Tigers.
The Championship game did not turn out as they hoped but what a fight they put up! The Renegades never gave up and managed a HUGE comeback after being down 3-0, they tied the game in the third which took them into OT. The Winterhawks ended up scoring off a bad bounce resulting in a 4-3 loss. We couldn’t be prouder of the effort this team gave throughout the tournament.
