Congratulations to the U18AA team who were the finalists at the Adam Keunen Memorial tournament in West Niagara this past weekend!!
The U18AAs were a determined bunch who played hard during the preliminary round to advance as the first seed. They allowed only three goals against with a 2-1 record to set up Sunday morning’s semi-final final match vs. the Woodstock Jr Navy Vets. The Renegades came out strong and handled the Navy Vets with a 4-0 win to put them in the Finals later that evening vs. the Richmond Hill Stars.
In a thrilling Final, which came right down to the wire, the U18AA team put up a tremendous fight right down to the final seconds of the game but fell just short.
