RENEGADES WIN THE BATTLE OF YONGE STREET!!
Submitted By Chris Neale on Mon 10 24, 22
A huge congratulations to all our Newmarket Renegades teams, their coaches, parents and especially our athletes, on winning the 15th Annual 'Battle of Yonge Street' Home and Home Series with the Aurora Tigers.

With the annual series tied at seven wins, 19 Rep teams from each association faced each other in a home and home format to break the tie. Our U16AA team clinched the victory with a 3-2 win in Aurora on Sunday evening. The final point total was 41- 35 in favour of your Newmarket Renegades!!

Along with a lot of competitive hockey, great camaraderie and sportsmanship we also held a food drive to support the Newmarket Food Pantry. Over 730lbs of much needed food was delivered to the pantry last evening!

Thank you to our Rep Partner, Miller Orthodontics, Dickie's No Frills Newmarket and to all those that made donations to help those in need in our community.

We would also like to thank Dickie's No Frills Newmarket and Kelseys Original Roadhouse Aurora for providing all of the 'Player of the Game' awards handed out at the Magna Centre this past weekend.

Finally, a big thank you to all our volunteers who helped make this weekend such a huge success!

GO RENEGADES!!!
