Important Season Schedule Information for House League Players, News (Newmarket Minor Hockey)

Good day House League Families!

The following information should allow you to begin planning the season start and getting ready for the Hockey Season to begin! 

Due to Representative try outs, the divisions of House-League will be starting on different weekends. Please view the full article for some important dates related to regular season start and evaluation skates.

All of the below information has been emailed to every parent from HL that has registered. If you haven’t received this information as of yet – please check your Spam or Junk folders.

 

Timbits U7 Program
The Timbits program will consist of a 22-week schedule that will commence with Evaluation Skates on Saturday September 24^th and Sunday September 25^th, 2022.  More information on evaluation skates will be emailed to you individually in the coming weeks.  The teams will be created immediately after the evaluation skates, and the parents will be notified of which team their player is on by a member of the NMHA or a member of the Coaching Staff.  The season will then commence the following weekend (October 1^st and 2^nd).  Each team will be given two ice sessions per weekend (Saturdays and Sundays). There will be some exception weekends with no hockey due to holidays and or special events. You will be notified of these exception weekends upon receiving your team schedule at the beginning of the season.   

 

McAtom U8/U9 Program
The McAtom program will consist of a 22-week schedule that will commence with Evaluation Skates on Saturday October 1^st and Sunday October 2^nd, 2022.  More information on evaluation skates will be emailed to you individually in the coming weeks.  The teams will be created immediately after the evaluation skates, and the parents will be notified of which team their player is on by a member of the NMHA or a member of the Coaching Staff.  The season will then commence the following weekend (October 8^th and 9^th).  Each team will be given two ice sessions per weekend (Saturdays and Sundays). There will be some exception weekends with no hockey due to holidays and or special events. You will be notified of these exception weekends upon receiving your team schedule at the beginning of the season.   

 

McAtom U10/U11 Program
The McAtom program will consist of a 22-week schedule that will commence with Evaluation Skates on Saturday October 8^th and Sunday October 9^th, 2022.  More information on evaluation skates will be emailed to you individually in the coming weeks.  The teams will be created immediately after the evaluation skates, and the parents will be notified of which team their player is on by a member of the NMHA or a member of the Coaching Staff.  The season will then commence the following weekend (October 15^th and 16^th).  Each team will be given two ice sessions per weekend (Saturdays and Sundays). There will be some exception weekends with no hockey due to holidays and or special events. You will be notified of these exception weekends upon receiving your team schedule at the beginning of the season.   

 

House League U12/U13 Program
The U12/U13 program will consist of a 22-week schedule that will commence with Evaluation Skates on Saturday October 8^th and Sunday October 9^th, 2022.  More information on evaluation skates will be emailed to you individually in the coming weeks.  The teams will be created immediately after the evaluation skates, and the parents will be notified of which team their player is on by a member of the NMHA or a member of the Coaching Staff.  The season will then commence the following weekend (October 15^th and 16^th).  Each team will be given two ice sessions per weekend (Saturdays and Sundays). House League U14/U15 Program

The U16/U18/U21 program will consist of a 22-week schedule that will commence with Evaluation Skates on Sunday October 9^th and Monday October 10^th, 2022.  More information on evaluation skates will be emailed to you individually in the coming weeks.  The teams will be created immediately after the evaluation skates, and the parents will be notified of which team their player is on by a member of the NMHA or a member of the Coaching Staff.  The season will then commence the following week (October 16^th and 17^th).  Each team will be given two ice sessions per weekend (Sundays and Mondays). There will be some exception weekends with no hockey due to holidays and or special events. You will be notified of these exception weekends upon receiving your team schedule at the beginning of the season.
