2021-2022 U15 A YORK SIMCOE CHAMPIONS!
Congratulations to the Newmarket Renegades U15 A Team on winning the York Simcoe Championships!
Throughout their hard fought season the boys showed great resilience, strength, and determination! They never gave up no matter what obstacles they faced. The boys went 5-0-1 during the York Simcoe playoffs and met a strong Bradford team in the final game. Trailing 1-0 with 2 minutes left in the 3rd period, the boys stuck together, tied it up, and took the game to a nail biting 3 on 3 overtime! These boys had been through so much together, they weren’t giving up and early in the OT were able to put one in to win the Championship game 2-1 and become York Simcoe Champions!
