
OFFICE AND REGISTRATION ADMINISTRATOR REQUIRED
The Newmarket Minor Hockey Association (NMHA is looking for an Office and Registration Administrator to manage the day to day operations of our Non-Profit organization.
Deadline for Applications - February 15th, 2023
Expected Start Date - March 1st - 15th, 2023.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration:
·
General office administrative and
clerical duties
·
Complete NMHA, OMHA and YSMHL
documentation
· Keep abreast of Hockey Canada, OHF, OMHA, NMHA and YSMHL activities and issues, policies, and procedures
· Answering inquiries from NMHA members in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.
Registration:
· Setup, coordinate/facilitate registration process for the association’s membership through the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR)
· Roster players, volunteers, and teams through the HCR system
· Ensure all Rep and HL coaches, trainers and managers, and volunteers have the proper credentials to be able to be rostered for approval
· Ensure all volunteers have a valid Police Vulnerable Check letter on file
Qualifications to Possess:
· Experience with a volunteer-based sports organization
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to work with confidential information and maintain absolute discretion and transparency
· Ability to work on your own and as a team player and be able anticipate the needs and requirements of the association
· Able to multi-task, be organized, self-motivated
· Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
