IMPORTANT NOTICE - YSMHL CANCELS ALL REP GAMES UNTIL JANUARY 3RD, News (Newmarket Minor Hockey)

Dear Renegade Players and Families,

The NMHA received notice from the York Simcoe Minor Hockey League that all regular season Rep games are being cancelled until January 3rd unless notified otherwise. 

What does this mean for our REP, Select and House League players? 

For All Rep Teams
- all league games cancelled until January 3rd
- scheduled practices will continue as normal 
- off ice team functions are permitted 
- tournaments are permitted after Christmas




For all Select Teams 
- games have been cancelled
- practices will continue as normal 
- off ice team functions are permitted 
- tournaments are permitted after Christmas

For All House League Teams in all Divisions 
- regular programming including games will continue as normal
- off ice team functions are permitted
- tournaments are permitted after Christmas

Please remember to follow Covid safety protocols. These include:
- all players are to wear facemasks at all times except when on ice or on bench. 
- team staff are to wear facemasks in dressing rooms and on bench at all times. 
- practice social distancing wherever possible.
- do not come to the rink if you are experiencing any symptoms associated with Covid. 
- if you are uncomfortable coming to the rink or attending team functions please inform your coach or manager.
