NMHA ALUMNI MAKING NEWMARKET PROUD!
The past two weeks have been very eventful for some of our Renegade alumni!

National Hockey League Draft

The National Hockey League draft was held on July 23rd and July 24th, with two former NMHA players being selected.

Braden-Hache.jpg Braden Hache was drafted in the 7th round by the Florida Panthers. He played two years of Tyke and then Super 7 (Novice) for the NMHA before playing 8 seasons for the York Simcoe Express. Braden currently plays for the OHL’s Kinston Frontenac.

Jack Bar was drafted in the 5th round by the Dallas Stars. He played Tyke for the NMHA before going on to play for the York Simcoe Express. Jack played for the Chicago Steel (USHL) this past season and has accepted a scholarship to play for Harvard (NCAA).

The NMHA congratulates Braden and Jack on their NHL draft selections and wish them continued success on their hockey journey!
