Congratulations to NMHA Alumni Denver Barkey and Brandon Scott on their selection in the 2021Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Draft.
Denver Barkey
Denver, who played Newmarket hockey until his U9 season, was selected 16th overall by the London Knights. One of the highlights of Denver’s Newmarket hockey career was when he scored 100 goals in his U8 season and was awarded the puck by his coach. Last season Denver played for the U16 Toronto Titans AAA.
Brandon Scott
Brandon, who played Newmarket hockey until the 2012-2013 season, was selected in the 9th round by the Barrie Colts. Last season Brandon played for the U16 Toronto Marlboro’s AAA. We wish Denver and Brandon continued success in their hockey careers!!
