GET YOUR GAME FACE READY

On Wed. Nov. 4th/20 the Province of Ontario announced a new framework for re-opening. 
As of Saturday November 7th, York Region will transition out of “Modified Stage 2” and into the “Restrict” phase. 
Specific to the ice facilities, this represents an easing of some restrictions.  

What does this mean for the NMHA?

For the most part, this represents a return to how we were operating in Stage 3.
In order to give the executive time to prepare the schedules, get refs, and timekeepers this will start Monday Nov. 9th/20.





This also gives some coaches and trainers a chance to continue with their course to get certified. Please remember NO GAMES can be played unless there is a certified coach and trainer on the bench. This will affect some divisions.

In addition to our previously operating plan, please review these highlighted key points:  

·      
Pre-Screening and Attendance must continue to be completed

·       Everyone must continue to observe physical distancing, wearing a mask while inside (except during sport participation) and sanitizing/washing hands frequently.

·       Guardians may continue to enter to assist with putting on equipment

·       Games and Scrimmages may resume as in stage 3, within a cohort of no more than 50 participants.

What has changed (as of Saturday) from how we operated in Stage 3?

 ·       One guardian/spectator per participant may remain within the building for ANY age, however;

o  This means a maximum occupancy as 50, which is now a combined total of participants, coaches, officials and spectators (instead of 50 participants + 50 spectators).
