Summer Ice - Skills & Drills - CANCELLED
NMHA is excited to announce that we are currently working with the Town of Newmarket to provide a Development Skills and Drills sessions. If and only If we can work out a schedule with the Town, we are working towards providing the ice in August on a weeknight.  Registration will be available in the next week or so.
The Summer Camp participants would only cover the cost of the ice .
Of course we would have to follow the OMHA/OHF, Facilities and pubic health guidelines that have been set out. There is a limit of Only a total of 10 on the ice at a time, also a trainer off ice, sperate entrance and exit, health screening, must wear a mask into the facility, etc.

We also continue to work with the Town of Newmarket, the OMHA, and the OHF to establish what our return to hockey will look like in September.
The NMHA Board of Directors are eager to welcome all our members back to the game we love as soon as possible. We are monitoring the developments of the provincial government as parts of Ontario move into Stage 3 of the reopening process.  Today York Region advanced into Stage 3.
As there seems to be some confusion and inaccurate information surrounding these updates and how it relates to hockey, please be clear that we are still following the OHF Return to Hockey Framework and as such we remain in Phase 2 / Stage 2 of that framework.
The OHF has not moved to Stage 3 yet but is working to fully understand how the changes will impact hockey moving to the next stage.
