COVID - 19 UPDATES
Submitted By Lynda Carusi on Saturday, March 14, 2020
Hello everyone while information is changing very rapidly, the Board has many things they will be discussing to keep you as informed as quickly as possible.
As a follow up to our previous notice, Hockey Canada, the OHF, and the OMHA has cancelled all minor hockey activities for the remainder of the season effective immediately, anything hockey related. Our national governing body Hockey Canada has withdrawn sanctioning for ALL activities and ALL events under their jurisdiction in the country including insurance (if a team official goes ahead books something, they/you are no longer insured.
This includes any and all games and practices, team parties, team rosters, clinics, and tournaments.

ALL town facilities are shut down until April 6th.

Spring tryouts are also suspended indefinitely until further notice. The OMHA now has a general information page on the OMHA website for all communications regarding COVID-19:  OMHA.net/COVID-19

We have limited information at this time regarding additional hockey activities past the current hockey season such as tryouts etc.
Registration and Tryout passports will be discussed and communicated here, please visit our website regularly or social media pages for information that will continue to be updated as it emerges.
We are hoping to have more information in the coming days, and will update our membership accordingly.
We are committed to providing a safe environment for our athletes, coaches, and membership, and support the Hockey Canada mandate outlined.
Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time.
