Atom AE brings home the Silver Medal in the Lake Placid CAN/AM Tournament!
Submitted By Patricia Thibault on Mon 01 06, 20
This weekend the Newmarket Atom AE team traveled to Lake Placid to participate in the CAN/AM tournament and brought home the Silver Medal.
The team won all three of their round robin games to secure first overall and their place in the Gold Medal game on Sunday.  During this nail bitter against Yale, the score was tied 1 to 1 after regulation time and it took almost 3 full overtime periods to decide the outcome.

The coaching staff is extremely proud of how well the team played and how professional they were both on and off the ice this past weekend. This tournament was a great experience and we know the team will keep up the momentum as we move into the playoffs.
We would like to thank all of the parents for supporting the team and making this a great weekend overall!
Way to go Redmen!!
