Minor Peewee A - Bradford Blue and Gold Champions
Congratulations to the Minor Peewee A team for winning the Championship at the Bradford Blue & Gold tournament this weekend.
Winning 3 out of their 4 games in the Round Robin, the boys came out determined in the semi-final game. After an intense 3 periods, the team worked hard to win 1-0 in overtime.
The championship game against Burlington Eagles was a nail biter. Going into the second period down 2-0, the team stuck to their motto 'Whatever it takes, we work together'.
They tied the game 2-2, forcing it into another overtime. With 14 seconds left in the 2nd overtime, the boys stayed strong, winning the Championship game!
