Received from the OMHA:
To all Association Delegates
All,
At the OMHA AGM workshop, there was a commitment by the OMHA to clarify which points within the Programming Novice and Below: Association Implementation Guide were optional (association discretionary), and which were mandatory. We are still awaiting this clarification and will share with all of you when we have it.

With respect to Tyke specifically, some aspects have been clarified and I trust recognized by all associations:
· Format is 4-on-4.
· Select at this level has a specific meaning:
o Tyke Select players are not allowed to play on another HL team,
o are subject to age restrictions (cannot play down), and
o are subject to residency rules
· One or two Referees
· No score will be kept
· First 6 weeks of programming are development with no jamborees to be held.
Other Dates that we (YSMHL) will be implementing
· Nov 3-4: YSMHL “Development Day” Weekend
o Location TBD – we are looking for an association to host this.
o Two similar sized pads are required in one facility.
o Goal is to assess different teams to assist in tiering/ matchups
· Nov 6: Tyke Select Scheduling Meeting
· Nov 10: Start of Tyke Select Season
