Atom AE Finalists in the Oshawa Hockeyfest Tournament!
Our Atom AE team participated in the Oshawa Hockeyfest tournament this past weekend and secured second place
overall!
Through injury and adversity the team persevered going 3, 0 and 1 in the round robin and semi-final matches. In the Championship game late in the third we scored to tie it at 2, but unfortunately the goal was called back leaving the final score at 2 to 1 for Oshawa.
Overall the team had a great weekend and the coaching staff couldn’t be prouder of our players and the level of competitiveness they achieved. We hope that they will remember this experience and apply what they learned together throughout the rest of the season and future tournaments.
We would like to thank all of the parents, family members and friends who supported the team! We also wish a speedy recovery to our injured teammate.
