Minor Peewee AE visit Newmarket Food Pantry
On Wednesday December 11th the NMHA Minor Peewee AE team paid a visit to the Newmarket Food Pantry to learn more about the pantry and how it helps people in our community especially around Christmas.
The boys spent began the evening with a presentation on how the pantry came to be and how it helps people in and around Newmarket who are struggling to put food on the table. They then toured the facility before spending some time working with the other volunteers at the pantry getting the food ready to distribute. The boys brought food donations with them and together were able to donate almost double their weight in food.
