Midget AA Scotia Bank Cup Champions
Congratulations to the Newmarket Redmen Midget AA team who won the Scotia Bank Cup in Mississauga Oct 19th-21st.  The boys won their first 2 games in impressive fashion beating Kitchener 2-1 & the Ottawa Sting 7-2.  After their only loss, the Redmen didn't allow a goal the rest of the tournament. First we beat our close rivals, Stouffville 4-0 to advance into the playoff round, then the boys cruised past Burlington 3-0 in the Semis.  Next was a re-match against the host Mississauga North Stars in the Championship game when the boys once again Shut-Out their opponent 3-0 to earn the Scotia Bank Cup Title.  Stellar Defense, perfect Goaltending and timely goal scoring was the Redmens recipe for success - well done Boys!!!
