Peewee Select had one of those hockey nights to remember Saturday November 18th, on and off the ice. We had a practice with NHL Alumni Dan Daoust and Brent Gretzky. The kids and fans were just as excited to get to speak with THE Hockey Dad, Walter Gretzky, who patiently signed autographs and watched our practice. Our players and parents sold tickets and ran a snack bar for the NHL Alumni vs Law Enforcement game and were proud to contribute $400 towards Special Olympics. Thanks to Oldtimers Benefit Hockey, NMHA, York Regional Police, Scotiabank, Newmarket Hurricanes, rink staff, and our parents and players for a wonderful night.
