The Newmarket players were ecstatic to play Game #1 on the big ice at the Barrie Molson Centre. The game proved to be a back-and-forth battle with a hard fought and physical competition for both teams. However, the Redmen maintained control in the dying minutes of the game despite getting into some penalty trouble. At the final buzzer, the Red and White were 4-3 winners. Game #2 back in Newmarket continued on right where the first game ended. It turned out to be another physical clash with the Redmen closing out their rivals to the north by score of 6-3. Overall, the kids played well and improved their overall record to 4 wins and one loss in their first five games. GO REDMEN GO!
