Congratulations to the Minor Peewee "A" team for winning the Montreal Youth Fall Classic on the Nov. 28th weekend!
The team started the tournament with a 4-2 squeaker, followed by another close one 7-4 over local arch rivals the Richmond Hill Stars. After that, they really turned up their game. Maybe it was the poutine, or the fun times bowling and go-karting - whatever it was, the Redmen went on a tear after that. With Gavin White and Curtis Hurcomb splitting duties between the pipes - the Minor Peewee "A" team won their remaining two round robin games and their semi final and finals without allowing a single goal! With scores of 2-0, 5-0, 4-0 and 5-0 (in that order), it was an impressive display! Congratulations boys on the big win - and let's take that momentum into the regular season and playoffs.
