Midget AA – York Simcoe Champions!
The Midget AA team
were crowned York Simcoe Champions after defeating a very tough Markham Waxer
team in 5 hard games.
These two teams
played a total of 13 times this season. The 3-0 win in game 5 ended the season
series at 6-5-2 in Newmarket’s favour. The winning margin between these teams
has been very small all season but the Redmen showed their pride and
determination in game 5 and flat out, refused to lose bringing home the
championship.
