Jeffery Murphy (U11 AE) (Newmarket Minor Hockey)

PrintJeffery Murphy (U11 AE)

Jeffery Murphy has volunteered in minor hockey for the past four years as a coach and volunteer within his own children's hockey organizations; both male and female.  He fell in love with the game of hockey while skating as an adolescent on the backyard rink, community rinks and eventually playing several years of 'AAA' in Barrie.  Jeffery and his spouse have lived in Newmarket for the past 11 years and are extremely proud to be part of the Newmarket Renegades program.

Jeffery’s end goal is to lead, mentor and develop these young athletes to reach the next level, as well as help achieve these young athletes' aspirations.  He believes that a coach has to be open minded in this role, as you will achieve your goal and your team goals only if you work in unison as a team, including parent interaction, organizational ethics and by becoming community role models.  The emphasis will not only be on hockey, but development of well-respected young athletes whom respects their peers, competition, volunteers, player safety and strives in learning both on-and-off the ice.
