Midget AA - Glenn Bellerby Tournament Champions
Submitted By Frances McKeon on Monday, January 07, 2019
Congratulations to the Midget AA Redmen who won the Glenn Bellerby tournament in Barrie, their 3rd Tournament of the season.  The Weekend of Jan 4th-6th was very successful as the Boys won all 6 of their games by a combined score of 31-11, with wins over Mississauga, Orangeville, Belle River and North Toronto in the Round Robin.

The Midget AA Redmen then took on Whitby in the Semi final and had a decisive 4-0 victory.  The final had the Redmen facing their new rival, Mississauga North Stars - this was the 2nd time these two teams have met in a Tournament Championship game this season, the 1st won by the Redmen,  After allowing Mississauga to tie the game 2-2, the Redmen got motivated to end this game, flexed their muscle and scored 4 goals in just 1:20 to once again show their dominance vs the North Stars and won the Championship 7-2.  The combination of excellent Goalies, Defensemen and Forwards along with great team chemistry once again proves to be successful

Well done Boys!
