Bantam AA - Bantam AA wins Lake Placid GOLD
Submitted By Karen Krawec on Monday, December 10, 2018
Congratulations to the Newmarket Redmen Bantam AA team who travelled to Lake Placid, NY this past weekend to compete in the American Cup organized through CHE Hockey.
Teams in the tournament were from NY, MA, CT and NJ. The boys cruised through the first few games, outscoring their opponents 25-0.  The last game of the round robin proved to be more challenging with the Redmen tying the New Jersey Jr. Devils 1-1.
Facing them again in the final, the Redmen were able to build upon the previous game and came out on top 2-0, taking home the gold medal.
