Minor Midget AA - REDMEN “THINK PINK IN THE RINK” DURING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER
Submitted By webmaster on Thursday, October 26, 2017
Its Oct 2, and it’s an important month, as we celebrate Thanksgiving with our Family and Friends. There is also another great cause we would like to bring to your attention - Breast Cancer awareness month, the month to wear PINK IN THE RINK

The players of the M. Midget AA Redmen Team are supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with our “Think Pink at the Rink” campaign and our goal is to raise $2000.00 for the Southlake Regional Health Centre.

“This disease affects many, and we want to fight back and provide support to all those Mom’s, Sisters and Grandmother’s” Jacob Colucci " Captain of this Redmen M.Midget AA Team.

The boys have a number of plans in place. We will be playing two games at Magna on Bobby Forhan pad on Oct 6th and Oct 27 where we are encouraging all our fans to come out and watch also wearing PINK.

We will be wearing our PINK jerseys, and will have collection boxes at the Arena for people to be able to donate to Southlake Regional Hospital.

The Oct 27th game is  alsoour annual home and home series vs the Aurora Tigers. “Its great cause, please come out cheer, be loud and be proud” says Colucci.

Further details of our fundraising plans are below:

Redmen Team Challenge:

1. The team activity to help raise money for this cause will be a 5 KM sponsored run. All funds raised will go to Southlake Regional Health Centre. (Attached Link) our goal is to raise$2,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness. Please share $1, and/or share your time to support the team and its goals to fight cancer.
