2017-2018 Atom AA - Atom AA - Brian Steele Memorial Tournament Champs!
Submitted By Karen Marshall on Wednesday, September 27, 2017
The winning tradition continued as the Redmen Atom AA team took home the Championship at the Brian Steele Memorial tournament in Toronto on Sept. 17th.  This tournament is hosted by the Hillcrest Canadians.

The boys went undefeated through the round robin portion of the tourney posting a 4 - 0 record.  Their aggressive fore-checking along with rock solid defense and goal-tending were too much for the opposition to handle as the Redmen had 24 GF vs. 4 GA leading into the semi-final game.  After defeating Brampton 8-1 in the semi's they came up against the Vaughan Rangers in the Championship game.  The boys came out flying and scored early and often.

In the end the Redmen won the Championship game with a 7-1 victory.  Throughout the tourney the boys stuck to our team motto of "Attitude is Everything" and played with class and respect during their 6 wins.

This tournament win culminated an incredible early bird run as the boys put together a 10-1 record in their two tournaments this month. The coaching staff and parents wish to congratulate the boys on a fantastic tournament win!
