Dear Parents and Players:
Welcome to the NMHA U12BB evaluations for the 2024/25 season.
My name is
Pat Parent, and I am excited to be the Head Coach of the U12BB team.
This will be my third season as Head Coach,
and I am looking forward to continuing to develop the 2013 players at this level.
Throughout the evaluations I am looking for hard working, dedicated and committed
players (and families) who want to compete, are coachable, and have the skills
to contribute to the team’s success. The
upcoming season will require a 4-5 day commitment per week from the players.
There will be 3-4 independent evaluators helping me throughout the evaluation
process. Evaluations will focus on a series of drills and a potential
exhibition game that will provide an opportunity to assess hockey skills,
including skating, passing, shooting, puck handling, work ethic, and hockey
sense/IQ.
Important Notes:
All players are reminded to wear proper equipment as per the OMHA rules.
This includes mouthguards, neck protection, and goalie ‘dangles’. Players
not wearing appropriate protection will be removed from the ice.
All players must attend
the U12AA and U12A tryouts to be eligible to tryout for the U12BB team.
