Atom AA: Back-to-back York Simcoe Champions!
Congratulations to the Atom AA team on winning back-to-back York Simcoe Championships!

They beat the Aurora Tigers in an exciting and action-packed game 5, with the series tied at two games each. The game was tied 1-1 at the end of the third period, and they headed into overtime - the 4th overtime game in this very close series. During the overtime period the Redmen had to kill off two minor penalties. They showed perseverance and never gave up scoring the series winner with only 12 seconds left in OT!

Following the game winning goal, the boys enjoyed an emotional and heartfelt celebration, circling the rink wearing their gold medals and hoisting the championship trophy high.  The series win ended a successful playoff run, having gone on a 7-0 run to earn a spot in the final against their Yonge Street rivals.

Congratulations and cheers to an amazing season - to the players and coaching staff who pulled off an incredible back-to-back championship!
